     In Amambai...near the Paraguayan border...some 40 gunmen attacked the Guarani Kaiowa indigena tribe... executing and then dragging away its chief...Nisio Gomes.
    After Gomes, 59, was shot in the head...his body was removed by the attackers.
    Several other tribes members are reported missing.
