Despite some media accounts, Texas has suffered mightily for 12 years under Governor Rick Perry.
Now Perry would consider inflicting some pain on Mexico...by sending American troops there to fight the narcos.
During a Republican presidential campaign appearance in New Hampshire, Perry said :"It may require our military in Mexico working in concert with them to kill these drug cartels and keep them off our border."
"I don't know all the different scenarios that would be out there," he said.
"But I think it is very important to work with them to keep that country from failing."
As bad as the narco violence is in Mexico, citizens and politicians there would surely resent a USA intrusion.
Since the 1840s, Mexico has been been very protective of its sovereignty...especially from the USA.
