Former President Carlos Menem, 81, has been cleared of arms trafficking in the 1990s.
President from 1989 to 1999...the current Senator Menem was charged with illegally selling weapons to Croatia and Ecuador.
Seventeen others were also acquitted.
Menem admitted signing 3 secret export orders...but claimed he didn't know the weapons were for Ecuador and Croatia...believing instead they were for Panama and Venezuela.
