After testing more than 500 weapons...officials found the weapon that killed a 16 year old during recent student protests.
The bullet belonged to the Uzi sub-machinegun of 18 year Carbinero veteran sergeant Miguel Millacura.
Millacura has been dismissed from the force...arrested for murder...and faces a sentence of 20 years.
The teenage victim...Manuel Gutierrez...was reportedly not part of the student protest...but simply pushing his brother in a wheelchair.
Four other officers have also been forced to resign...and Carbinero General Sergio Gajardo...who had denied his officers were responsible...has been asked to quit.
