Finally, after years of pleading and haranguing, the USA is considering the removal of an onerous a $.54 gallon tariff on importation of Brasil's sugarcane ethanol.
But...it may be too late.
Its sugarcane harvest may decline for the first time in years.
Experts there now believe there will be no ethanol to ship abroad.
