A NYC appeals panel ruled that there will be no USA assets grab by two of Argentina's debt bondholders long frustrated after a massive 2001 $95bn default on foreign creditors.
Buenos Aires hasn’t made principal or interest payments since the default.
Some bondholders wanted to seize $105mn held in the Federal Reserve Bank.
The court ruled that Argentina’s central bank is entitled to the protection regardless whether it is independent from its parent state.
