MACEDONIA: 6 June UPDATE: PM Nikola Gruevski To Get 3rd Term After Opposition Boycott Forced New Election.

Macedonians voted for the parliament because of an opposition boycott.
They elected all 123 members. Turnout was strong...almost 54% of 1.8 mn eligible.
In January, the leftist party walked out of the parliament after authorities froze a sympathetic TV station's bank accounts during a tax probe.
The voting was monitored by some 3,500 local and 330 international observers.
PM Nikola Gruevski's party led but fell short of winning a majority.
Gruevski will get his third term as PM.
High unemployment and a flagging economy are key voter concerns.
Skopje became an EU candidate in 2005 but a 19-year name dispute with Greece has impeded it.
