COSTA RICA: More Tourist Murders Raise Security Worries.

Inside CR

Carolina Silva, 29, an Argentine tourist was shot in the head Thursday in Playa Samara by two thieves trying to to steal her laptop.

Earlier this month, a young American was shot by a hotel security guard when he tried to sneak in after curfew.

These deaths and several other unsolved tourist "disappearances" are raising troubling questions about security in CR...which gets more than 2 million visitors annually.
