MEXICO: 7 Regional Immigration Directors Fired For Alleged Complicity In Migrants' Kidnappings.

    The government has canned 7 regional immigration directors for allegedly delivering Central American migrants to kidnappers.
    Regional directors were replaced where migrant smuggling and allegations of rights abuses run rampant: the states of Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Tabasco, Oaxaca, Mexico, San Luis Potosi and Quintana Roo.
