PM Silvio Berlusconi returned to court in Milano over corruption charges in a Mediatrade case.
Outside the courthouse, he called charges against him "pure invention"...and attacked prosecutors.
"There is something which is not going in the right direction for a democracy to have government leaders humiliated by having to spend hours in court while these important international events are taking place", he said.
Prosecutors claim Berlusconi inflated TV rights prices...skimming the difference to fund political activities.
Berlusconi is also charged in three other cases.
