BRASIL: "Zombie" Ants Roam Jungle...Controlled By A Fungus Among Them.

NYDAILYNEWS/

Scientists report that a special fungus infects some of Brasil's ants.
It takes control of their muscles and sends them wandering the jungle for a perfect place -under certain leaves- for the fungus to grow.
The fungus takes control of the ant's leg muscles, forcing it to walk abnormally after infection. The infected ants "zigzag in a drunken walk" while healthy ants follow paths along the forest floor.
