A protest by some 1,500 former employees of defunct state-owned utility Luz y Fuerza del Centro got out of hand...injuring 14 during a police tear gas attack, including two journalists.
Police detained eight protestors.
Members of the electrical workers union stormed the former offices of Luz y Fuerza and were repelled by 600 riot police and 100 traffic cops.
