A murky daguerreotype that purports to show famous Polish composer Frederic Chopin lying in his deathbed in 1849 must be authenticated say experts.
"Everything suggests that this is an authentic picture," said gallery-owner Wladyslaw Zuchowski, who bought the picture in Scotland and had it restored in London.
"It is the only known daguerreotype of Chopin. Every other known picture of the composer is a copy," said Zuchowski.
