EL SALVADOR: Obama Visits Slain Bishop Romero's Tomb; Pledges $200 Million Usd To Fight Narcos.

   In the final hours of his visit to San Salvador, President Barack Obama paused in a symbolic gesture before the tomb of slain human rights activist Roman Catholic Archbishop Oscar Arnulfo Romero.
    Romero was murdered 31 years ago on the orders of an official in El Salvador's U.S.-backed army.
   Romero long condemned the army's 12-year repression that resulted in at least 75,000 deaths.
   He was executed on 24 March, 1980, while conducting a mass in a hospital chapel.
   Obama also pledged $200 million usd for Central America...to battle the widespread narcos.
