MEXICO: 8 Dead, 12 Wounded In Oaxaca Land Dispute.

   A simmering 20-year dispute over 400 hectares (988 acres) turned into a massacre between the villages of San Sebastian Nopalera and Zimatlan de Lazaro Cardenas leaving 8 dead and 12 wounded.
    The towns are located 300 kilometers (186 miles) west of Oaxaca city in the Mixtec region of Oaxaca.
    Although the situation was tense for more than two months only 15 officers were sent to control the growing unrest.
