HUNGARY: Up, Up And Away; Interest Rate Increased For 3rd Straight Month.

   The Magyar Nemzeti Central Bank raised its benchmark two-week deposit rate to 6 percent from 5.75 percent, its third 25 basis point increase in three months.
    Food and energy costs are surging all across Eastern Europe.
   Hungary's inflation rose to 4.7 percent in December, the fastest since June.
