AP/ Repsol YPF energy announced that it has discovered 4.5 trillion cubic feet of proven shale gas reserves in Patagonia, which expands its proven reserves from 6 to 16 years' worth of the fuel.
The new shale deposit is located in southern Neuquen province but will be more difficult and costly to extract than conventional natural gas.
