POLAND: Farm Worker Bus Crash Kills 18.

     Eighteen fruit pickers in a Volkswagen van died after crashing head-on into a lorry near Nowe Miasto nad Pilica, about 50 miles south of Warsaw.
   It is one of the worst crashes in Poland, known for  poorly maintained road.
      Police report that last year, 4,572 people died on Polish roads.
