With many postings, including warnings and a beheading, that may come directly from drug traffickers and crime scenes fotos and video accessible only to military or police, BLOG DEL NARCO offers information unavailable in the now often cowered mainstream Mexican media. "For the scanty details that they (mass media) put on television, they get grenades thrown at them and their reporters kidnapped," says its anonymous chief blogger. "We publish everything. Imagine what they could do to us."
