LATIMES/ Diego Fernandez de Cevallos, 69, a conservative party PAN presidential candidate in 1994 has disappeared. Police in Queretaro found his empty vehicle near his La Cabana ranch along with some of his belongings amid "signs of violence."
De Cevallos could be the highest-profile victim of increasing violence since Calderon began his war against drug traffickers in late 2006.
