POLAND: A Law May Require More Women In Positions Of Power.
GLOBALPOST/ Unlike neighboring Germany now led by Angela Merkel, Poland seriously trails having women in senior position in politics and business. So its parliament is considering mandating that a half to a third of electoral positions be reserved for women. Women now comprise 20% of its lower house and less than 10% of its Senate.
