AUSTIN,TEXAS: City Is Overrun By Tourists And Celebrities.
KVUE-TV/ The city is still under siege by an estimated 250,000 film-loving, rodeo-craving, basketball-crazed, high tech-using music-obsessed fans. Tattooed bodies, shocking scarlet-dyed hair and i-phones are everywhere. There's no room in coffee houses, restaurants or motels. The roads are packed with frantic, annoying tailgaters. But the weather is in the 70's and the trees are busting-out in blossoms while yard choke from weeds. In other words, just a typical day for the residents of Venice or Vatican City in Italy. And a $150 million wet-dream for the Chamber of Commerce. But for most of us, it's a tsunami of people.
