POLAND/BELARUS: Polish Ambassador Recalled Over Ethnic Dispute.
RFE/ EU Parliament President Jerzy Buzek is criticizing Belarus for evicting an ethnic Polish organization from its offices. "I call on the Belarusian authorities to stop taking drastic measures against the Polish minority,” he said as Polish Ambassador Henryk Litwin was recalled from Minsk. Warsaw is unhappy with the treatment of a cultural group, the Union of Poles in Belarus (ZPB), which was ordered to vacate its offices and had its building seized.
