On his regular Sunday talk show, President Hugo Chavez announced the nationalization of  French-controlled Almacenes Exito SA,  headquartered in Colombia for alleged price hikes. Almacenes Exito runs Colombia's largest retail chain and controls 6 hypermarkets and 32 supermarkets in Venezuela.
