ROMANIA: Court Declares Basescu Presidential Victor.

Romania's constitutional court declared incumbent President Traian Basescu the winner of a disputed election. Basescu won with 50.33% of the vote defeating former Foreign Minister Mircea Geoana, who garnered 49.67%. After examining 138,000 ballots, election officials reported that the election results had not changed. Geoana has also conceded five-year term to Basescu.
