MEXICO: Major Cocaine Boss Killed In Military Assault.

In a major blow to Mexico's illegal drug trafficking, Arturo Beltran Leyva, the boss of the Sinaloa-based Beltran Leyva drug gang, died with 6 others during a 90-minute gunfight with Mexican military in Cuernavaca. Beltran Leyva was called the "boss of bosses," and among Mexico's 24 most wanted drug lords with a $2 million reward posted for his capture.
