MEXICO: Another Death In A Leaky Witness Protection Program.

LATIMES/
Mexico's witness protection program is under scrutiny after the death of Edgar Enrique Bayardo, a former federal police commander turned informant about drug traffickers in Sinaloa. Bayardo was gunned down in a Starbucks by two attackers in a posh area of Mexico City.
The Reforma newspaper said Bayardo moved among a trio of government-owned safe houses but was preparing to resume normal life. He was the second informant killed in the past two weeks.
