ARGENTINA: "Angel Of Death" Trial Begins.

Alfredo Astiz, a former navy spy nicknamed the "Angel of Death," went on trial for his alleged involvement in the disappearance and torture of dissidents during the 1970's military dictatorship. Astiz, 58, is accused of the torture and murder of two French nuns, a journalist and three founders of the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo. Astiz is called the "Angel of Death" for his innocent blond appearance and alleged viciousness.
