VENEZUELA: Violent Video Games To Be Banned.

GLOBAL POST/
Venezuela is attempting to address the extreme violence that plagues it.
Homicides are at record levels. Caracas with 2,710 murders in 2007, about 130 per 100,000 citizens, has one of the highest homicide rates in the world. So it will soon be banning violent video games like "Target: Terror Gold," "House of the Dead 2,""Counter-Strike" and "World of Warcraft." The punishment willl be a possible 3-5 year prison sentence for selling or distributing, a harsher punishment than selling real guns to children.
