RADIO INK/
Emmis Communications' national radio station in Hungary, Slager, has gone off the air. The Hungarian National Radio and Television Board didn't renew Emmis' license after 12 years and instead gave it to a consortium linked with a Hungarian political party. The country's other national radio license went to a group beleived aligned with another national party. Emmis claims it invested $170 million in the station, had an all-Hungarian staff, and was politically non-partisan.
