MEXICO: Los Tigres Del Norte Cancel Awards Show; Claim Censorship.

Los Tigres del Norte quit the 2009 Lunas del Auditorio awards after show organizers censored the band’s musical choices. Organizers, perhaps pressured by the government, asked the group's label to get them to not sing ‘La granja’(The Farm)."
“La granja” describes life on a chaotic farm and is a metaphor for the current climate of insecurity and corruption in Mexico.
