Huge Lithium And Potash Deposits Found In Central Mexico.

LAHT/
Massive deposits of lithium and potash have been discovered in central Mexico. An almost 40,000-hectare (154-sq. mile) deposit – the first to be located in Mexico and possibly one of the world’s largest – could contain some 80 million tons of lithium and potash-bearing earth with a concentration of 750 grams (26 ounces) of lithium and 25 kilograms (55 pounds) of potash per ton. Canadian and U.S. experts have confirmed the minerals and there a concession has already been granted to develop it.
The deposits are located in a semi-desert zone that straddles the states of Zacatecas and San Luis Potosi and includes the towns of Villa de Cos, Panfilo Natera, Salinas and Villa de Ramos.
