Brasil's coffee output may approach the record next year as trees enter the top half of a biennial cycle...and with favorable weather.
Next year’s output will be close to the record 48.5 million bags produced in the 2002-2003 season, said Airton Camargo of Conab. “We have lots of positive factors that could help Brasil have a very good crop next year,” said Camargo. “It’s hard to beat our record because it’s too high but we can get close to it.”
