Brasil Views Itself As Next Oil Superpower.

Brasil's Energy Minister Edison Lobo said the vast potential of its pre-salt region, an estimated 50-80 billion barrels of oil equivalent, could produce some 3.8 million barrels per day within 10 years, or double its current output.
