Russian/Indian Group Interested In Argentina's YPF

MERCOPRESS.

An Indian government owned energy company ONGC Videsh Ltd and its overseas investment branch, OVL, is having talks with three Russian companies -Rosneft, Lukoil and Gazprom- to acquire a substantial stake in YPF, the Argentine arm of Spanish oil major Repsol YPF SA.

The Chinese had been reported interested in acquiring a stake in YPF SA, as well.
